Great Affordable Stay Close to Rome
Our stay at Hu Roma was great. The property was very pretty and had everything we could have needed. The restaurant was good and the staff were kind and helpful. There was also a general store. Our little home was just a bed, small closet, chair, toilet, sink and shower, the essentials. A place to sleep and launch into Rome. They provided a shuttle to get to Rome ($5 return) or you could take the bus/train. Overall, everything was very clean and provided us with everything we needed. Cute little place to stay!

The stay was quite good and the cabin was clean. An affordable stay near city centre. Wiuld highly recommend. Wifi is really slow and it take ages to connect . Hiu roma should do something to improve the wifi connection. Otherwise everything was really nice.

Check-in system was badly managed - got in line for reception for 10 minutes to get to the front and then be told there’s a ticket system. Understandable if super busy but it wasn’t. Train station difficult to understand and unreliable. Bus on time but very overcrowded. However, room clean and tidy campsite. Breakfast croissants and coffee were delicious and good value.

It is a lovely camping side, friendly staff and information point available all day. We booked a bungalow with 3 single beds. To my surprise as we opened the door we had 1 single and 1double bed instead, but we were tired after the journey and decided just to have it as it is. Our shower was big and clean, with strong stream of hot water, clean toilet and sink in place, fridge and safe. I have no issue with the bungalow, it was all clean, modern and comfortable. However, we weren't aware that it sits just next to a highway with constant traffic noises and a nearby hospital. Transfer to the centre by bus and then Metro -Cornelia was not too bad except on one occasion where the bus didn't arrive for ages. Overall a positive experience :)

The property was very well maintained, it had all the amenities that were advertised the on site market was well stocked and not overpriced. The only complaint that we had was that there was not enough hot water for individuals to shower consecutively. I would recommend for travelers from the States pack your own wash cloth and know if you stay at this property there is no daily towel service..

Interesting place to stay in Rome
Overall we were pretty happy about this place. It's true camping experience while being in close proximity to historical center. The place is well-maintained and cozy. Convenient location. A few things spoiled our impression. We checked in at 7:30 pm and were exhausted after long day. There were at least 3 people available at the reception, but they decided to do training to a new girl with us without our consent. Simple check-in took 30 minutes... Wifi is very weak and inconsistent... We were really excited about the pool in +35 heat, but pool hours were absurd 10 am to 8 pm. Most places we stayed around the world pool is open from 8 am to 10 pm...
