The Devon Hotel

The Devon Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"I’ve stayed here a couple of times and will happily stay again! WiFi is quick, staff are friendly, gym is useful (quite small, but handy), breakfast is lovely and beds are comfy! My only small disappointment was the bathroom was in a need of tidying up. Shower panel had come off and the shower cubicle was tired. But genuinely, it’s nothing that would put me off in anyway!"

"A great random find. Beautiful location on the riverside (but via VERY narrow lanes). Superb beer, delicious food and very friendly, helpful staff. Only downside … we were unlucky and had a room close to the noisy kitchen extractor flue but we’d gladly return and simply ask for a different room. Very happy to recommend this pub."

If you're seeking a unique experience, boutique hotels often provide a more personalised touch and may offer better value. 4. Consider your location: Staying nearer to key attractions or city centres may provide convenience but often comes with higher costs. For more affordable options, consider hotels in less central areas or neighbourhoods, striking a balance between price and ease of access to the sites you intend to visit. You might also look into independent hotels further afield, which are usually likely to be more affordable and can offer a more authentic experience.
