Not as advertised.
This hotel has good access for Gatwick airport. Restaurant was not open and nothing available within walking distance. Single room very small but bed comfortable and clean. No bar area and breakfast buffet, very much serve your self, no staff around for the most part. No tablecloths on table and very grotty and marked table to eat from! Staff not particularly friendly- just doing a job. Not really value for money apart from location, which is probably how they survive. Won’t stay again.

We've stayed here before a few months ago and had a fantastic time. This time around the facilities in the room were poor. The room wasn't ready when we arrived, so we left our bags at the hotel and returned to the room much later. The flush had broken on the toilet, so we ended up using the toilet in the reception. The cable for the tv was unplugged and we soon realised that even plugging in the cable meant very poor signal, tv was unwatchable. No milk was left. We couldn't use the mini fridge as the plug didn't reach the socket. When we went to use the hairdryer in the morning it made a horrible noise and started smoking. Because we arrived in our room so late and were only staying one night I didn't want to go through the hastle of complaining, I knew the hotel was fully booked and we just wanted to get some kip. I did wonder whether someone else had complained and been moved out of the room, as there was a travel cot in the room which we didn't ask for. The staff however were lovely, the pool amazing and breakfast was fantastic. Just a shame we were let down by the room - I'm sure the staff would have tried to sort problems if we'd asked, as they were so welcoming - we would have complained if we were staying longer. It has put me off booking here again, as I can't believe they were unaware of all the problems of this room - I suspect the room wasn't ready when we arrived as they were trying to sort them out

Great staff all through the hotel. Very clean. Parking was convenient. Would come again. Room was a little tired. Carpet needs replacing. Sink was cracked. Breakfast at 10am was missing some items, no hash browns!
