Hotel Bellevue Dubrovnik
"Stunning hotel. Would definitely recommend and we will come back"
Dubrovnik Palace
"We had a fantastic trip! We chose this property to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary and had the most amazing stay. The hotel is beautifully clean and has fantastic facilities, but what makes it truly special is the staff. The excellent service began before we had even set foot in the hotel. I contacted the property in advance to let them know we were celebrating our anniversary and received a lovely response from Anton, who arranged for a bottle of Prosecco to be delivered to our room on the day of our anniversary. On arrival, we received a beautiful welcome. Our anniversary was recognised by the staff and another bottle of Prosecco was sent to our room after we checked in, which was such a lovely touch. We also enjoyed a wonderful couples' spa experience. The spa itself was beautiful and the staff were fantastic. We had a slight issue with our safe during our stay, and Josef handled the situation with such professionalism and care. He was incredibly helpful and made sure everything was resolved quickly. We also had a beautiful meal in the restaurant, accompanied by one of the nicest wines we tasted during our trip. The bar and pool areas were excellent too, with plenty of sun loungers and great service from the pool bar team. Everywhere we went in the hotel, we were greeted with a friendly smile and warm welcome. We genuinely received five-star service at every turn. I cannot recommend the staff enough. They went above and beyond to make our stay unforgettable"
Valamar Lacroma Hotel
"Overall, I would say it’s a very good resort (particularly the epic Maro World kids club/centre!), let down by poor rooms and unfriendly/unhelpful staff. My recommendation, go to the resort but stay in one of the other Valamar hotels like Tirena. To break it down more: Rooms – Most of the rooms are old and tired. They are never worth the money that they charge. We had two classic rooms but in one the air-con wasn’t working properly. We got moved on day 2 and there was a terrible smell in the bathroom. So on day 4 we got moved to the newly decorated v-level rooms with a full sea view. These are nice but they have just put a bit of lipstick over the old rooms. Resort – You can use both he Lacroma and Tirena pools and the President Beach. The Tirena pool is brilliant for families, with the exception of it being a bit too deep. You get two big slides and a baby one. We didn’t really like the beach as it was really crowded. Where things get epic is Maro World. I cannot explain how good this is but I doubt there’s a better kids centre and kids club in Europe. Food – The food was ok. I found it to be uncreative with only very small changes each night that make it feel almost like the same thing. The desserts are also pretty poor. But generally the quality of the mains is good. For breakfast the real shocking thing is how poor the juices are (they are diluting juice and not real juice). And the selection of cereal is really poor, which is stupid as cereal is so cheap."
Hotel Royal Neptun
"Really nice hotel, beautiful views, the pools and breakfast were great."
B&B Sol
"Everything about this hotel was fantastic and much more than we were expecting. The room was newly decorated, clean and had everything we needed. The breakfast room, although small, was adequate and breakfast was good. One staff member gave fantastic advice on where to find a beach and which bus to use to get there - he even warned me about all of the steps! A real find of a hotel before we went on a cruise."
Hotel Lero
"It was overall terrific! Mia, in reception went out of way to ensure I had a great car service to the airport at 5am and organized a very delicious to go breakfast!"
Royal Blue Hotel
"Can’t get closer to the sea —- tons of options for lounging and several pools to choose from. The rooms are a great size and very clean and new. Splurge and get the sea view - you will regret if you don’t. The restaurants are fantastic - best shrimp risotto of my life. The breakfast has a great selection. Would definitely stay again!!"
Hotel Kompas
"Friendly, clean, great room, perfect location . Wonderful included breakfast buffet."
Valamar Argosy Hotel
"Stunning views from the property. Staff was friendly and helpful. For the bad, the pools close too early (8pm) in the summer. A vending machine and ice machine would be helpful, especially when people try to adjust to the time zone and get hungry after hours."
