We had a fabulous 4 night stay, hosted by Katy and Olivier who were amazing and couldn’t do enough for us! We had a lovely home cooked breakfast every morning and Katy had great recommendations on things for us to do. This place is gorgeous, in a perfect location for the shuttle bus to and from the airport and near the train station- would highly recommend!

Wonderful, beautifully restored canal-side hotel with quirky artifacts and decor. Super-friendly host welcomed us and helped us to check in before directing us where to go to the medieval castle. We were provided with a list of recommended restaurants for the evening. Breakfast the following morning was superb, served in a lovely courtyard.

Wonderful gem of a hotel. 20 minutes shuttle from the airport. 10 minute stroll to the centre of town. 20 minute walk to the medieval city and directly on the Canal du Midi. The hotel has been refurbished to an excellent standard and you can see the owners" attention to detail everywhere from the quality of the towels and bedding to the wonderful breakfast spreads. Would definitely recommend and hope to return sometime soon

We loved our stay in Carcasonne! The accomodation was in a perfect location for a stop on our cycling holiday along the Canal du Midi and had everything we could hope for. The beds were super comfortable, everything was lovely and clean, and Katy and her husband were so nice! The breakfast was also fantastic - highly recommend!

The rooms are super nice, recently renovated and the shower is just out if this world!!! :) They were very kind with us, the breakfast was great and always nice to have some help to move around or to recommend places to eat from them. I can’t recommend it highly enough, I loved the decor, the delicious(& varied)breakfast, the location & above all the kind hosting from Katy & Olivier. I love the location here，I t’s very close to the train station, right next to the Canal du Midi, and both the old town and La Cité are within walking distance. The room is very nice and clean, and the bed is very comfortable, after a full day out, it’s so relaxing to lie down. I really enjoyed the thoughtfully prepared breakfast; the quality is exceptional and feels like a whole other level of enjoyment, the best. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful and hospitable, offering great recommendations for places to visit and delicious restaurants nearby. It was the most memorable experience of our trip.

Our room was spacious and very clean, with a very comfortable bed. Katy very kindly upgraded us to a bigger room, and although I'm not really a fan of a shower over the bath, we made it work, and it was great to have the extra space - thanks Katy. It was an absolute godsend to have the aircon, and although it was a little noisy, we couldn't have done without it in the recent heatwave! Our hosts were both helpful when needed, and we felt well looked after, especially with the lovely breakfasts they provide. Along with fruit,granola and yogurt, they offer a different cooked breakfast every day, and both we had were excellent. It was great to sit in the garden, chat to other guests, and get a great start to the day. The location is about 6 minutes walk from the train station, about 10 minutes into town, and 25 minutes to the citadel of Carcassonne. It also has several restaurants in the vicinity and the wifi works well. Access was very straightforward, and it was a nice bonus having bottles of cold water available to guests. Overall, we had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend the hotel.

Our stay was wonderful. The hosts Sarah, Steve, Katie and Olivier were extremely helpful and friendly. The breakfast was delicious and varied. The house was well furnished and very clean. Our room was perfect. It was perfectly clean, spacious, beautifully furnished with a view of the canal. The breakfasts were deliciously prepared with care. They kept the downstairs stocked with free cold water and various sodas and good wines at a very low cost. It was an absolute joy to experience this hotel that Katy and Olivier obviously put in so much of themselves to remodel from an old home and that they run with such care and detail. They were there to help out with any questions about the wonderful town of Carcassonne. They should be very proud of their hotel. They are wonderful people and we strongly recommend their hotel.

Fantastic Chambre D'Hote in Carcassonne

Stayed a whole week and wish it was more! Without a doubt the best Chambre D'Hote/small hotel we have ever stayed in, anywhere in the world. Just 3 bedrooms, but beautifully appointed and with an amazingly comfortable bed! Breakfasts were extraordinary- different every day, but similar in that they were perfectly prepared with delicious fresh local produce. The property is literally on the bank of the Canal du Midi, 1 minute walk from the train station, a few minutes into town and 15 minutes walk to the Cite. But it was still quiet and peaceful. Katy and Olivier make you feel so at home and were full of recommendations on what to do, where to eat and how to have a great time in beautiful Carcassonne, which we certainly did. I would not hesitate to book again and look forward to doing so!
