I was pretty disappointed with my stay - there was no major 'bad thing' that happened, it was just blah. The neighbourhood is very seedy - tons of bars and people are out partying until well after 4am - and you can hear it from the rooms. We were on the 5th floor facing the street and it was very loud. The security people on the main level were lovely - the front desk staff weren't very friendly - actually, the most unfriendly of all the places that we stayed at during our 3 week holiday. I didn't realize that breakfast was extra, it was expensive and terrible. If you are a single guy or guys and looking to party with the local women, this is the place for you. We were spending 2 nights in Bangkok coming back from Cambodia, before heading to Taiwan...there are nicer places to stay. The hotel is very modern, the rooms are tiny and not very well-kept. There was grout missing in the bathroom, mold along the grout lines, the walls were dirty, baseboards were scuffed up, bedsheets had some tears in them...needs some TLC. It was clean though.
