Nice stay
A clean simple room. Wi-Fi a little spotty but otherwise everything provided for our overnight stay. Shower water pressure good. Train runs by motel but didn’t hear it after falling asleep and it kind of added to the Route 66 experience. Would stay again. And if you dine at Lilo’s or Roadkill Cafe and mention you’re staying at Deluxe you get 10% off you bill.

We arrived at Deluxe Inn well after midnight, exhausted from our journey, and were immediately relieved by the owners' exceptional hospitality. Despite the late hour, they had made special arrangements to ensure our check-in went smoothly. The owners clearly understand the challenges of travel, as they had kept our room ready and even left the exterior lights on to help us locate the property easily. The check-in process was efficient and considerate of the late hour, allowing us to quickly get to our room and rest. What stands out most about this motel isn't just the comfortable accommodation, but the genuine care shown by the owners in accommodating late-night travelers. This kind of personal attention is increasingly rare in the hospitality industry, and it made a significant difference to our stay. The room itself was clean, well-maintained, and provided everything we needed for a comfortable night's rest. After a long journey, it was exactly what we were hoping to find. A true motel that's just fun to stay at!
Second time staying there. Super clean, large room. Linens and towels were much nicer than expected. Nice, cold, A/C. Route 66 room decorations made the stay unique. A bit of train noise, but didn't hear any after I went to sleep.

Better option
We stayed here before and after our trip to Havasupai. It was definately worth it to drive the extra 24 minutes for a nicer, cleaner room with a bigger, more comfortable bed and TV, a mini fridge and microwave for the same price as Grand Canyon Caverns In. There is also lots of food options nearby, including Road Kill Cafe.

This place was a dream. Vintage spot on Route 66, walking distance to the historic spots. Friendly staff, immaculate room, excellent air conditioning. The only drawback was the train sounds on the track out back but once the windows were closed and the air conditioning was on, you could barely hear it.
