Absolutely wonderful
This hotel is a little gem in Rome! It’s the perfect location to walk to all the main attractions. The room we had for 3 people was extremely spacious, clean and comfortable. The outdoor courtyard was beautiful and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was also very good. The staff were also helpful in arranging transfers as well as recommending restaurants. I will definitely stay here again when I visit Rome again.

Incredible location in Trastevere. It’s near the bridge so it’s easy to walk or scooter around to attractions, or explore the streets of trastevere. The hotel staff were the most friendly and helpful, and really made you feel like you were at home. The premises are very charming, would definitely recommend!

This property deserves a much higher rating than what is given online. Although it states 3 star hotel, it should be ranked a lot higher due to the convenient location in the heart of Trastevere, the friendliest staff, and the wonderful atmosphere of the hotel itself. It is very secure as you have to be let in through a gate and let out through the same gate so it makes you feel safe. If you’re looking for all inclusive or fancy, this is not the place but the genuine service and environment would give it that feel.

Our stay at Hotel Santa Maria was amazing. Hotel is in a great location in the middle of Trastevere but tucked away so that it doesn't feel like you are in the middle of everything. Room was great - we had our own little terrace outside our room. Breakfast was great every day. The staff was really friendly and accommodating. Thank you for a great stay. Will definitely come back.

Hidden Sanctuary
A perfectly designed space in busy Rome! Once inside, it’s easy to forget that you are still in the heart of Trastevere. My family enjoyed that the Hotel had a 24 hour reception, breakfast with friendly servers that made your coffee and hot chocolate with designs, rooms that had daily service and all the amenities like shampoo, hair dryer, mini fridge. Most of all the hotel is conveniently located within walking distance from the restaurants, and shops while at the same time being quiet and safe. The staff is friendly and even offers suggestions for restaurants. They even arranged for their private driver take us to the airport.
