Such a magical place. They did an incredible job of restoring a historic building and retaining it's original characteristics, while including many comfortable modern features like air conditioning, wifi, and hot water. The staff and host were so incredibly thoughtful, warm and hospitable. I came with my two friends from the US and we all had the most wonderful, memorable, and lovely time. We are all photographers and every angle you looked like a set you would have spent hours planning. We will miss the hotel, the staff, and we will miss Mardin! Hope to be back soon. One thing to note is that it is a bit difficult to get to, but you can call them and hand your phone to the drive for guidance.
