I'd give a 6 star for the staff here, the Japanese people have a tendency to be proficient and helpful. The staff here was exceeded that.

Lovely hotel. Staff very welcoming and polite. Rooms are a decent size and equiped with everything you need. We chose here because our purpose of the stay was to do the Nakasendo Trail. The reception staff were very helpful and provided us with maps in English. My only issue would be that the bed was very hard. That said, that isn’t an issue for everyone.
