Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Hotel location is near Ningxia night market and Dihua old street. Aircon is very good, very quiet. However, the hot/cold water control for the shower is quite erratic ie. got to constantly adjust.

Hotel stay was very good. Room was clean and very big. Surprised to have 2 big tv's in the room. Toilet and bath was clean and big as well. Mini bar was provided as well and replenished everyday. Room is very tiny, TV doesn't have too much selection on the stations/programs; no YouTube, no Netflix, etc.. Hotel looks fairly new and clean, not bellboy service, we had to take 4 pieces of large luggage from 5th floor to lobby in order to check out.

TV resets to factory settings everytime it was turned on - difficult to toggle to channels. Cleanliness can be improved (e.g. carpet, windowsills). Only one pillow available for each guest. Breakfast adequate.

We arrived close to midnight and were greeted at the front desk. The bed was comfortable. Everything was nice. We were in a hurry to leave early the next morning to do a cycling excursion around the city. We did not plan to eat breakfast at the hotel, but we did check it out on the way down. We’re were blown away by the beautiful dining room and the breakfast buffet! So we stayed and ate! There were many choices for plant based eaters like we are. A nice, big surprise. We will stay at Hu House again.

辛い思い出になりました
チェックインした日に室内の設備に問題があることに気付きましたが、気付いたのが夜遅めの時間で、そのことを伝えて翌朝などに対応（修理）して頂くことに時間が取られることを貴重な旅行中にもったいないと感じたのでホテルの方には言いませんでした。もしかすると翌日には直っているかもしれないとも思ったので。 しかし、翌日の夜にホテルに戻った際も使えないままだったので、フロントに連絡すると修理の方が来てくれましたが、直せない様子で、結局部屋のチェンジを提案されました。予定外のタイミングで荷物のパッキングをするのは面倒ではありましたが、せっかくだしと思って部屋を替えてもらいました。 しかし、その部屋のひどいこと！ 元々はシャワーブースとバスタブが別れているタイプの部屋でしたが、交換してもらった部屋はバスタブだけのタイプで、部屋も狭くなりました。元々の部屋の浴室にも若干の黒カビはありましたが、高温多湿の台湾だし、そのへんは受け入れていましたが、前の部屋よりもカビがひどく、洗面台を支えている木の脚は下の方に白いふわふわのカビが生えているし、なぜか若干斜めに傾き頼りない感じ。洗面ボウルの上部はずっと掃除してないような感じで黒い汚れ（カビ？）が広範囲にありました。また、部屋の壁にもものすごく黒カビが生えていました。床も汚く見えたので少し拭いてみるとホコリだらけでずっと使われてない部屋のように感じました。カビを拭き取った跡かどうかは不明ですが、クローゼットの扉などには慌てて拭いたような跡が残っていました。嫌な感じではありましたが、また出かける予定もあったので、そのまま一旦ホテルを後にしました。 その後ホテルに戻り、シャワーを使用したら・・・もっと大変なことが起きました！シャワーカーテンはしっかり締めているし、おかしな使い方をしているわけでもないのに、シャワーの水が洗面所の方に流れていきます！始めは理由が分かりませんでしたが、バスタブと奥の壁に数センチ幅の凹んだ隙間（溝のような）があり、その隙間から水が床の方に流れてしまう作り？（どういう設計なのか！？）になっているようで、どれだけ気をつけても川のように水が流れていきます。これが洗面台を支えている木の脚が朽ち果てている理由だったようです。バスマットが濡れるのをまず回避させましたが、必要最低限のバスタオルやタオルしかないのに、どう対応すればいいのか・・・生まれて初めて膝を抱えてしゃがみ込み背中を丸めてシャワーを浴びる羽目になり、リラックスとは程遠いバスタイムで疲れ果ててしまいました。海外旅行には何十回と行っていますが、人生で一番ひどい入浴体験でした。 実は今までに複数回、前の台北城大飯店の時に宿泊したことがあって、その時は何の問題もなく、むしろ良かったので今回も選んだのに、本当に残念な経験となりました。ホテル側の問題なので、同様の部屋かアップグレードすべきなのに、普段は使っていない恐ろしい部屋を提供されたのだろうと思います。返金してもらいたいくらい腹が立っています。トラウマになりそうなくらいショックです。
