Good hotel
Hotel was very nice, the pool area is big and clean and so on. Pool bar food was not good, we had a burger and I doubt that was meat. The ‘ bad’ with this hotel is the poor quality of food, and the choices. I recommend the hotel but get your own food from a supermarket it’s much better. Breakfast and dinner so basic and tasteless. The cleanness and the hotel itself it’s very nice and would definitely recommend.

Great location. Front line beach, with countless bars and restaurants on your doorstep. Noise might overflow into the hotel, but I enjoyed it. Clean hotel, recently refurbished. Plenty of hammocks available, unlike other hotels/resorts where muppets beat the sunrise to claim their spots. Nice large pools, with bar close to pool. Waiters and staff are friendly, such as Carlos at the pool bar. You get what you pay for. Enough options for breakfast to fuel the body, but don't expect a five star buffet. My kids enjoyed staying here, and being able to spend time at the pool and beach in the same day without logistical issues. Close to airport and public transportation on door step. Small gym available. Nice lobby, and overall a decent hotel. Room had a fridge and was restocked with water every day. A/C worked, and room service available daily. Balcony with furniture allowed opportunity to relax.

I was not a fan at all of this hotel. It was hot, pool was dirty. It’s your typical 2star European Hotel. The restaurant was not good. They nickel and dime you for everything.

Great hotel
Excellent stay at the Marconfort costa del sol. Nice location opposite the beach. Beach sun beds at extra cost, pool sun beds are free. Good clubs literally across the road, Aruba you normally need to book for the evening but Playa Santa is walk in normally with an entry fee but comes with 2 beers. Great pool & cocktails from the hotel pool bar. Air conditioning is decent and stays on while your out. Easy to get to the strip with all the restaurants, and another club called mana. I recommend mixing with the locals over there especially if soho travelling as they can show you what’s where. Excellent Irish bar in benalmadena the next town along called mollies if you want to mix with the English/Irish/Scottish, good vibes when it gets late, dancing drinking etc, I used Uber to get around, was very reliable and good price. Airport transfer upon leaving was decent.
