Great if you spend most of the day out
We booked a double room with sea view. However, we were given a room in another hotel (Marko Polo) with no views at all. The hotel is very Eastern European style, old and not too comfortable. However that worked for us since we were out most of the day. The only "comfort" issues were that you can't regulate the AC temperature and nowhere to dry your beach towerls and bathing suits. The hotel has a perfect location, close to the city center, by the sea yet protected of all the hustle. The breakfast was really good!

This hotel was built in the 70’s, it is one of the larger hotels on the island that needs renovating. Hotel Park on the island of Korcula offers no air conditioned rooms, there is no elevator, so you will have to walk up a flight of stairs with your luggage. Internet service is offered only in the lobby area. It does offer a mediocre free breakfast. It is located 10 minute walk to the center of town and offers a great view of the town and sea.

Bad - Bad - BAD
Amazingly bad hotel. Do not stay there! I took a shower, but only because I really needed to. Then we left. We couldn´t imagine spending the night in this sh**** place.

Good location, but that's the only positive.
In dire need of renovation. Rooms are extremely basic, whilst bedding was clean everything else was just grotty. Staff also never smiled, but performed duties in a functional way.

not a great hotel
no A/C, no elevators and was on 4th floor, no WIFI in rooms only in lobby, breakfast that was included was not good and we were surrounded by bees.

Polite helpful hotel staff. Great location: own beach, just dozen of stairs away; close to old city, 10 minutes walking. Magnificent view from the restaurant terrace. But, just too many wasps on the terrace during meals, not even safe to be there. However, the inside of the restaurant is OK. Even the superior rooms have very modest amenities. At least refrigerator should be added to the rooms. There is no air conditioning anywhere in the hotel. During the last days of August and the beginning of September, I can say that it is not needed, at least in the rooms with sea view. Probably in the peak summer season, air conditioning may be needed.

It's cheap, but not cheerful...
If you like the film The Shining then you might like it. Otherwise, not. The room was big, that's about it. No air con, in 33 degree heat is unbearable. No wifi in the rooms, only in the reception (just buy some routers???). Ants in the bathroom, the sink in the bath clogged up evetytime we took a shower. We stayed for 4 nights and the sheets weren't changed- just shabbily rearranged. Breakfast was average, would have had some jam/Nutella on bread (no toaster) but didn't fancy battling it out with the boards of wasps around it. TV wouldn't work. No hairdryer in the room but when we asked in reception and the surly woman gave us one. Best thing is the location. Right on a pebbly beach. You have to rent the sun beds so we didn't bother. If you're wanting someone cheap that's not a hostel then it's a decent alternative but needs big improvements.

Where do I start?
I don't know why anyone gave this hotel 3 stars, it should be a 1 star hotel, To start with the faded lounge suites in the lobby are that old and worn that they have sunken spots in them where people have been sitting (I'd say) for the past 20 or so years because that's how old all the furniture seems to be. Secondly there are no lifts in the place and no bell boys to carry your luggage up and down the stairs, we were unfortunate enough to end up with 2 rooms in 2 separate buildings, both on top levels, which made it a bit of a pain visiting each others rooms, there was no air conditioning, the bath rooms were tiny (we never even bothered having a shower) the beds were less than a foot of the ground, there was no fly wire protecting the room from insects (I ended up with a few Mossie bites) to top off the bad service they requested we pay if we wanted to use their internet, Unless you don't mind staying at a back packers, I suggest staying away (I paid for a non refundable 4 nights in 2 rooms through this website and still only stayed for 1)

Bad Manners
After repeatedly telling the hotel that we were going to be late due to an airline delay, they sold our room on and transferred us to another hotel which was of a poorer standard. The Manager was also rude when we complained of their actions.

Beautiful Island
Returned to Korcula 21 years after our honeymoon there. Needn't have worried about changes as it has actually improved since the fall of communism and because it is off the beaten track and isn't touristy like some islands. Hotel park like most Korculean hotels has no air conditioning, but the large glass doors to balcony can be left open all night - not a mosquito in sight! It's quite noisy however as folks stay up all night, but it's 'real' noise not that of thumping discos etc. Hotel staff most helpful and booked day trips, boat rental, tickets for the Moreska (a traditional must see dance which is performed twice every Thursday evening). We got half board which worked out well: Breakfast and lunch or breakfast and dinner. Food was fairly basic, but wine and beer are included and the buffet style suited all our tastes. The 2 - 2 1/2 hour sittings worked well too as all of us could grab a bite when we felt like it. Maid service was quick and unobtrusive and towels were changed daily. I finished my book quicker than expected but in the hotel sitting room (which had a large TV and was barely used) books left in the hotel (all languages were available!) were available for guests to read. It wasn't a 'posh' hotel, but it was clean the shower powerful and it suited our needs as we spent most of our time enjoying the superior views, lovely restaurants (once a day) and crystal clear water for swimming.

Vergane glorie vlakbij Korcula Old Town

Depressing and uncomfortable
This is the worse experience we have ever had. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. While the building has its charm as a retro-sixties hotel, and the location is fine, the state of the room we were assigned was deplorable. To say that the mattresses sank too deep is an understatement, it was impossible to sleep on them. The light was grim, with only one ceiling sad dim lamp and no operative bed lamps. Carpet really old and rusty, and most importantly, no air conditioning and just a window facing too proximate neighbours to keep open, it was impossible to breath in that heat. Bathroom was passable but also really smalll and very basic with no usable amenities. We asked to be changed to another room, and the receptionist kindly offered us another one, whose matresses were in better condition and had, at least, one night lamp. However, overall, the same characteristics. Wi-fi only operative in some communal spaces. And breakfast, included in the fee, literally unedible, including canned dried fruits and white-ish unrecognizable charcuterie. Overall, indeed a depressing experience for which we payed 130 euros. Unbelievable!!!

You get what you pay for
The hotel is as earlier rewiews says, very ugly and time-stained. Although being worn beyond an American 30$ road motel, we thought the place was well cleaned, then it started to rain outside and the bathroom started to smell real bad from urine. The room had a nice balcony facing the ocean, great location close to the town of Korcula and with a small beach just outside. I would say OK for a one night stay on a low budget and with low expectations.

Personale gentile. Vista sul mare. Dopo aver contattato expedia risolti velocemente i problemi con trasferimento in un buon albergo vicino

They where service minded. The hotel was old, no elevator, no aircondition, and not old in the facionable way. Room was clean, but old. Lack of comfort without AC. The beach, restaurants and town center was a 1 - 5 min walk away. Good hotel, but HOT.

Dette hotellet MÅ renoveres. Standard på bygning og inventar er langt under de forventninger dagens kunder forventer seg det. Manglende aircondition savnes også sterkt.
