If you’re looking for over-priced cheeseburgers, crowded beaches, fancy overpriced accommodations w/ drunken tourists, and rude Karens fighting over a beach chair… this isn’t for you, go to Atlantis.
But, if you’re looking for a basic apartment style accommodation w/ a kitchenette, on a beautiful uninhabited beach, in a tranquil area right across from Stuart Cove dive shop this is the spot. The beach is nice & there’s some nice beach walking trails that connect to a little park.
It’s your average 3-Star Caribbean resort right on a quiet beach, nothing super fancy but clean & quiet. Rooms are clean ,decent little kitchens for cooking meals, nice balconies w/ ocean views attached to the rooms, & staff are fantastic. Restaurant on site. There’s a grocery & liquor store about 1/4 mile away but likely need a car.
Directly across from Stuart Cove dive shop.
It depends on what type of traveler you are?
Do you want all that super fancy overpriced excitement of Paradise island? Or you just want a clean quiet beachfront spot to do your own exploring?
If you wanna support locally owned small businesses instead of giant corporate machines, this is a good spot. The owners are accommodating, friendly, & helpful
Bahamas are extremely expensive & none of that money seems to get to locals.
