Mixed review.. but no internet in rooms
Most facilities unavailable due to Covid.. so pricey considering.. difficult check in.. probably the language barrier.. i felt interrogated ! Once i got to my room i was comfortable.. the power plugs could have been better positioned. There is no internet or wifi in the roons which i thought was poor... loved the big windows , very quiet and easy to park.

The room appeared as though it wasn't ready for guests, no tea or coffee making facilities and generally not very fresh considering it was a deluxe room. The room had twin bed which was frustrating and no option to change to a room with a double. When I went to bed I decided I wanted an extra pillow but there weren't any, when I called down to reception I was asked to come down to reception to collect it. The upgrade to deluxe boasts a lake view but unfortunately there are trees in the way and you really can't see the lake from the rooms. The air conditioning was really noisy but it was easy to got to not use it. When speaking to staff they were generally rude and not really interested and appeared unfriendly and rude, like our stay was some sort of imposition. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Fortunately we were only using the hotel as a place to sleep, we would have been really disappointed in we holidaying at the hotel.

The hotel is nice but old. The rooms are small. We staid 2 adults +1 baby and there was not enough space for our bags and luggage. On our second day, I lost my cellphone and I asked to make a call from a reception to the tech-service, to block my number. For 15 min call, I was charged for 51 Euro !!!! They didn't tell about their prices before I made the call. The hotel offers wifi, parking, bicycle rent and bowling. Everything for charge, nothing is for free (like we had in other hotels).

Very nicely situated, next to the lake, surrounded by nature. First idea was - it is not too far. Especially when looking on the map. Do not be mistaken - no public transport is next to it. Hence stil good for travellers by car or groups by bus. However did not expect wifi to be that bad..

Out of 10, nein never again!
You don't expect to turn up at a hotel to find reception doing an impression of the Marie Celeste, yet this was the case so not a good start. The superior double room I had booked had two single beds and according to the staff, if I wanted a double bed then I needed to move to a smaller room. As the room I had was not exactly big then this option was not one I considered realistic. To soften the blow my partner and I decided to eat in the restaurant, it seemed the only choice was the buffet that was laid out. We should have realised that things were no better here when the butter would not even melt on the vegetables, the mashed potato was full of lumps and the chicken, though edible was devoid of any flavour. We had the pleasure of paying 46 Euros for this, we would have had more fun if they had just held us up at gunpoint! The bar has beer pumps that are just for show so no draught beer at all, even as a hotel guest you have to pay for parking and WiFi and though booked for 4 nights we left after three, making sure we spent as little time there as possible.

We were attending a 5 day event in the City. This hotel is conveniently located just 20/25 minutes drive away. Great place to relax at the end of the day or take a stroll through the forest around Berlin's largest lake.

Extra Charges
For the internet there is a charge which these days for a hotel should be free as part of the package and there was pay to park to in a huge open car park but in say that it is mentioned before you book. There also no kettle in the room so you can't make your own tea or coffee and if you like to listen to your AM or FM radio there was to much interferance. The hotel was nice and was very art-decco which I like in hotels gives a comfort feeling.
