Overall rating
The room was clean. However, these rooms do not come cheap so I was amazed that they don't offer wash cloths, and apparently can't afford to install toliet paper holders, it just sits on the counter. My daughter was in another room and had to pack all her stuff back up and move to a different room when she had no hot water. Restaurant is only open 3 hours for breakfast and 3 hours for dinner. I do not know if they offered lunch service. Staff was quite pleasant, which helped when dealing with the issues.

Great location outside of the National Park
Good location and price for a hotel outside of Yosemite National Park. Clean and spacious room with outside parking right in front of your room (if have a room downstairs). After a hot day of hiking and sightseeing, it was great to have a swim one of the outdoor pools (just get a towel from the front desk), but the indoor pool looked a bit old and dirty on the bottom. The Canyon Bar and Grill is right next door and offered a good selection of food which I ate at both nights I stayed at the lodge. The only downside was that I could hear every time my upstairs neighbour was walking around. The lodge's 'beach' area across the road was a nice surprise and lovely and cold for the feet after walking all day.

Yosemite area
A night before visiting Yosemite, a nice hotel, rooms are not big, no ventilation, shower is old, shower head is for short people, eating options are very limited and expensive

Experience, no service with unfriendly staff.
I do not recommend this hotel. Unfriendly staff. There were many Mosquitoes/flies in room and bathroom. Dirty bathroom. No service at all. Expensive for such a hotel.

Big surprise
This was a great choice for a Hotel. It sits just a few miles from the Yosemite entrance very easy drive to the park. I was impressed with the general store, gift shop, bar and grill, plus they had three different pools. Great outdoor sitting areas to lounge. This will be my first choice if I go back to Yosemite.

Great access to Yosemite; decent room and accommodations; biggest complaint was little access to electrical outlets and those we could find wouldn’t hold the electric cord in it…it made it very difficult to charge our phones (even their own lamp cord wouldn’t stay in the socket!) The grounds are very nice with a lovely riverside area right across the street. We would definitely stay here again.
