We were lucky enough to have an upgrade to a suite available. This was definitely worth the extra payment. Our suite was very spacious with a lovely comfortable bed, a large bathroom and nice city views. Being at the end of the corridor it was also very quiet so we weren’t troubled with any noise from other guests.
Breakfast was very good with lots of choice and plenty of everything
The only thing that we noticed in all the hotels that we stayed in during our month long road trip around Sweden was eggs! Everywhere we had hard and soft boiled or scrambled ( these were some sort of powdered egg mixed with water or milk, but not the best ) Come on Sweden - proper scrambled, poached, fried or even eggs Benedict, it can’t be that hard.
The Bishops arms next door was nice for a quick drink and trying hard to be like an English pub.
