I have zero complaints about this hotel. After I booked I was nervous based on some of the reviews. However, I found this hotel to be without flaw. The room was spotless , the breakfast was delicious, and the location was convenient. Were there homeless people ? Yes, it’s Philadelphia! You cannot fault the hotel for that . Also, The staff is very friendly and accommodating. We will use this location again.

Can’t check in on a hot humid day
The room was comfortable but that is about it. I stayed for three nights and for two of the three breakfasts there was no cream cheese (in Philadelphia!) for the bagels and no fresh fruit whatsoever. I have stayed at Hampton Inns in many cities and this has never happened before. Check-in was a fiasco. I arrived at the hotel at 3:30 PM and was told that my room was not available but would be available at 4:00 PM. When I tried to check in at 4:00 PM, there was a long line and because there were only two people checking people in, it took until 4:30 PM for me to finally check in - standing in line with my luggage. The thing is there were several additional staff there who seem to be doing nothing useful. There were two empty computer terminals at the front desk but they were not used. One person essentially said “next” standing next to a person actually checking people in. Another person seemed to be doing nothing other than asking people if they wanted water. Three “security” people were there and all they asked was if people wanted help with their bags - which made no sense since we had no room to go to.

Awesome!
We are never disappointed when we stay at a a Hampton hotel! This was no exception. The front desk staff was friendly and very accommodating. Our room was spacious with great views of the city! The valets were dedicated to not making the customers wait too long for their car. Thank you for a fun stay in the city!

Horrible service
We waited almost 30 mins on a long line that went out the front door for check-in. We were given no apology, just here's your room with a blank stare. There were not enough towels in our room and no baggage rack. We were told someone would bring these things up, we ended up going downstairs to get it ourselves. When there was a fire alarm in the middle of the night and everyone had to stand outside, management was nowhere to be found. We all decided to go back in once we saw the firemen leave. Wow! The whole weekend guests were complaining to the manager with no resolution to their issues. I will never stay here again!
