A breath of fresh air co.pared to high priced hote
From the time I booked snd called to ask a couple questions, to the day of check-in calling to reassure we were coming despite a later arrival time than planned, to check-in we received impeccable service! After check-in we were thrilled to be able to place a late evening order for a turkey bacon cheese melt and it was wonderful. The beds were the most comfortable bed I have slept in at a hotel in at least two years. I would not hesitate to stay at the Brookhaven again. The staff goes above and beyond to make you feel welcome!

Great spot
I had the best experience. The only thing that was not good was the breakfast. But there was a McDonald’s next to the hotel. We booked again coming back from FL. We had the same great experience! Friendly staff, clean, spacious and comfy rooms. The only downside again was the breakfast. Burned eggs, rotted fruit and cold everything else. Even still great experience and I would stay again.

From what I understand Brookhaven just purchased this hotel and maybe need time to get it together. Staff was excellent,breakfast was delicious. Pillows toooo soft need an upgrade. Fridge didn't work. There was an incidental fee i was not aware of when I booked the room. Other than those few issues it was a nice 3 night stay.

Pretty good
The ladies at the front and the female security guard were beyond nice! The day to day cleaning (bed, bathroom) were clean. The couch however was either not clean or just really stained and gross looking - I didn’t even want to put a bag on it. The shower floor was peeling (whatever the top layer is). We stayed here bc of the proximity to the Children’s Hospital which is 1/2 mile and very convenient.

Location isnt everything
There was no conditioner in the bottle in the shower, which means their eco program doesn't really work. The room smelled bad The thermostat seemed like it was going to fall off the wall, but it worked. The bed was cozy, but didn't have enough pillows. The mini fridge had been left open and on, so the freezer was iced over and the unit smelled bad. Check-in takes too long and the guy operating the desk at night is often smoking outside and sounds annoyed if you call down. The location is super convenient and it is nicer inside than it looks. Also, it's still operating with permits issued to the DoubleTree, and I'm not sure that's entirely legal

Great hotel
Our stay here was wonderful. The customer service rep was friendly and gave us warm cookies when we first came in. Our room was clean and spacious and we left, the rep gave us more cookies, hot chocolate amd hot tea. I would definitely stay here again. It was also in a great location.
