El edificio del hotel es muy antiguo, carece de facilidades de acceso para personas en silla de ruedas ya que el lobby está en el sótano y no hay elevador. Tiene calefacción/aire acondicionado central, en Tokio hacía frío en la noche (cerca de 11C) y no tenían calefacción (el personal del hotel no tenía forma de cambiar su sistema de aire acondicionado a calefacción, lo que fue muy incomodo). El personal del hotel es muy accesible.
