Wrong room, loud construction & poop on the floor
I was out in a handicapped room with two beds instead of the single king I booked. Even after I asked to keep my original reservation the front desk refused to change my room back. There was construction happening in the pool so it was very loud all day and not relaxing at all. In order to use the pool we had to walk to another hotel but it was raining my entire stay so that was off the table. There was poop on the carpet right in front of the elevators that stayed there for a while day even after being reported.

Well recommended!
Hotel is at the top of Waikīkī which was recommended to us by a Hawaiian friend, it’s away from the hustle and bustle. The service wa lovely, we got an hour extra late check in which suited our needs. Rooms were generous spacing. Had breakfast at the Deck restaurant which was lovely.

The property is older but very clean. The room was large, but we were not able to get the king size bed we booked ended up with 2 queens unnecessarily. But it was fine. The pool area is very old and tethered, the turfing is very worn as well as the lounge chairs and the pool has cracks. Pool area is shaded after 6 being on the 3rd floor

The location of the hotel was convenient with the beach being down the street. The room we had was clean and decent, but had a small restroom/shower. I was a bit disappointed that we did not receive our a lei greeting upon arrival which was mentioned that the hotel did. They do offer a lei making class which was a nice experience. Parking was kind of a headache. To avoid paying the valet, since they don’t offer self parking on the hotel site, there was an option across the street to utilize public parking but parking hours were limited and you have to add additional time every few hours. Unfortunately both restaurants on site did not have many vegan options (only fries, açaí bowl or fruit). I hope they expand their menu for the future. Overall staff was friendly and we were able to walk further into downtown for shops.

Lobby Furnishings dated and uncomfortable. Lobby Breakfast corner styrofoam means of serving poor option for eat in, ok for takeaway.
We could have had a quieter room but size was generous.

This Hotel was the absolute worst hotel I have ever stayed in. First thing from check in they gave me a room that I did not book. The room I booked that was available through Expedia I was told that I am not obligated to get that same room. Only if it’s available when I check in. They gave me a room with two queen beds I booked a room with a king size bed. The beds were dirty. The shams were stained with water and the windows had spider webs all over. The pillows were stained yellow and there was a big roach in the bathroom under the toilet. The shower head was dirty and water only came out the side then the drain was clogged so the water filled up the tub and did not release. At that point I went to the manager and he told me my best bet would be to check out because they didn’t have any rooms left. Very rude. He told me he could have management and housekeeping come to my room to fix the drain and change the bedding but that would be it. Not one single apology or accommodation at all.

The property was nice. Food and drinks at the hotel were typically high priced as with other Waikiki hotels. All in all though it was a good property with good easy access to the beach. If you want to hike Diamond head crater, this is one of the best places to stay.

Great place to stay in Waikiki. Beach is walking distance. Parking might be a problem, but valet will give you tips and tricks to get around that.
