Check in was fast. Room was clean for people of three but of course because it’s a dorm type of rooms you have to be quiet and there’s some body odor lingering when you passed the hallway. Bathrooms are shared but there’s doors in each toilet and shower area. Breakfast was great. Cool place for single people.

Amazing location, clean, accessible, super safe, breakfast in the morning, close to two convenience stores, stuff is the nicest. I was looking for a good enough hostel for a few days before transitioning to a hotel to save up, but next time I’d stay here as long as I’m planning on traveling. Truly an amazing time. (There are small lockers next to beds to store your belongings).

I think what makes this a good hostel is the location and its well known. It was clean and close to everything you want to do. Good place to meet travelers, walking tour Saturday and a decent happy hour. Its right next to seven eleven so a lot of people grab drinks there and bring them back to the hostel. I didnt feel like the staff was real very or had anything else keep the environment social.

The hostel is located in a really good position for moving around Tokyo during day with public transportation and walking around Shinjuku for having fun during night time. Washrooms are really clean, capsule is comfy and all the staff is english speaker and helpful. You can meet here people from all over around the world that make the experience even greater. Totally recomend it

Absolutely great hostel.

Absolutely great hostel. Very well-maintained and clean place. Rooms, Toilets and Showers are well cleaned. Hostel is very easy to find from the nearby train station and located in the Shinjuku area so you can enjoy your nightlight in Shinjuku and still walk back to the hostel without needing of train. We stayed for 2 nights in the private room- 2 kids (14 and 17) and w adults. Common area with kitchen was great, we could warm up food. Coffee pot would be a good addition, there is 7 eleven across the street with coffee so was mot so bad.

This is the first time I stayed in dorm-style place. I am definitely not going to opt for this experience again. I had heard good things about the social aspects of staying at a place like this, but I am not sure if I would forego the benefits of privacy and a good night of sleep over that in the future. The staff was helpful and friendly. But the bathrooms were not that clean, plus you have to deal with snoring roommates at night!

The beds were comfortable and I loved the hanger rod/cubbies to put our stuff. Bathrooms and showers were clean! Common area had what you needed. Staff were there to help when i needed! I was in a mixed dorm and it did smell like feet but that's understandable since everyone walks all day, every day. They had an air purifier and would open the windows during the day but I'm thinking a place to store shoes or another purifier would be good. It's also a decent place to meet people but you need to be willing to strike up a conversation with strangers in the common areas if you want to do so. There's a few other hostels in the area so it'd be cool if they partner with them for day-time walking bar crawl tours. Those types of things tend to get people mingling. Or maybe just some sort of sign-up board for people who are interested in doing things with others. I'd definitely stay again!

The hotel is very well located, and the building itself is nice, but the hygiene issue seriously affects the overall experience. I found it strange and quite unreasonable to have to remove shoes or slippers before entering the shower area, especially since, during my three-day stay, I never saw any actual cleaning being done. At night, they only collected the trash, but there was no proper sanitation. The floor was visibly dirty, and it’s uncomfortable to step on it and then go to bed feeling unclean. The mat outside the shower was always wet and full of hair, making it impossible to use. The place has potential, but cleanliness in the shared facilities needs to be taken much more seriously.
