Nice hotel but beware of dogs
This hotel was amazing. Great location great staff. We would have given it perfect marks except that it is “dog friendly” which is awesome, but it also means dogs are allowed in the dining room and the one that was there when we were there barked and growled at everyone all through breakfast and I suspect it was the same one who barked all night.
I love dogs, but that was too much. There was a garden with tables, they should have eaten there.

I loved staying here. It’s within walking distance of the Abbey, the staff is super friendly and the rooms are very clean. They were super accommodating as I was getting married at Tintern. Definitely recommend staying here.

This has a wonderful stay so difficult to put anything that could be viewed as negative, however I do have one thing that would have made my stay even better. Milk, I was delighted to hear that fresh milk was provided rather than long life. However, there was no bottle in the room when I arrived so I asked for one, was given it with no problem. The following morning a new bottle arrived so took it in but as I was off for work meetings none of it was used but had hoped it would be in the room later wh

Too place to stay when travelling with a dog
Our stay was fabulous. The room was so clean and comfortable, a huge bed with lovely crisp linen. Food was beyond excellent. This hotel is truly dog friendly with our furry friend being allowed every where that we went. They supplied a very comfy dog bed for her too.

Very Covid friendly. A relaxed pub with good food. Breakfast was slow but this was due to only 1 person working the dinning room.
