Unfortunately The hotel is not suitable for over night guests when they have a group / band on as the rooms have no sound proofing We had an email to notify us that they had a live band on & that the bar would be busy It didn’t mention the noise level for the bedrooms The band started at 9.30 & went on till 12.30 so we couldn’t sleep as we appeared to be directly over the speaker. They’re either a gig venue or hotel but definitely not suitable for both We have stayed several times previously but never when there has been entertainment on This is such a shame as it is in a beautiful location, the balcony rooms have a lovely view over the beautiful harbour But when you’re up early to explore the surrounding areas you need to be able to sleep Hence we will be looking for another place to stay on our next visit Regards Debby & Roger Greenwood

We arrived just before 9.30 in the evening and received a nice welcome from a young lady who quickly got us to our room, we then returned to the bar shortly afterwards for a couple of drinks before bedtime as we had been travelling all day. The same young lady served us at the bar, and again in the morning for breakfast, which was very good, she was extremely courteous and professional and looked after us very well. The staff seem to do their best to keep on top of things and the room was clean, but the whole place is in poor condition and needs a refurb. I wouldn’t stay here again unless I knew it had been.

Expecting better. No real check in, just go to the bar and give your name. Restaurant only open for breakfast. Rooms very small.

Room was ideal for us and very comfortable. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were visiting friends near by so hotel location was great and being so close to the lovely bay and beach an added bonus. Finally the breakfast was fantastic one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had! Great value - would use again.
