This is a clean, comfortable place to stay in a central, walkable neighborhood of Porto. You can get to it easily from São Bento train station, and it's a good place to start a historic walking tour of the city.
Check-in, communication with the host, and check-out were easy. In fact, when we told them we were arriving in town a couple of hours early, they got our room ready for us so we didn't have to store our luggage somewhere, which made the whole day much easier.

Fair warning to those with mobility issues: This apartment is up two flights of stairs, and we didn't notice an elevator anywhere. Also, most of the streets in the area are cobblestone, and the sidewalks are narrow and paved in little, flat stones called calçadas that can be slippery when wet.
