A perfect stay - friendly welcoming staff, well equipped room with hugh fluffy towels and a comfortable bed. Amazing dinner menu at affordable prices, good breakfast selection. The hotel is updated, the grounds are immaculate. Decor in the dining area an bars is bright, modern and comfortable. Internet had a few hiccups, and desk in room was a little small but, aside from this we would return in a heartbeat.

It's a nice boutique-type small hotel that satisfies travellers' needs. Unfortunately, I was not able to lock my door from inside or outside, and the floor needed proper cleaning, not just vacuuming. Otherwise, it's all good.

Enjoyable stay!

Stayed one night at the Stanwick for a family party in nearby Rushden (10 min taxi). The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very good (didn't have dinner at the hotel but fellow guests did and said was very good also). Room was small but very clean and comfortable - good shower in bathroom. Good wifi. Nice little bar with good selection at reasonable prices. Nearby small village with pub 5 mins walk. Would recommend this hotel for friendliness and value for money.

A little hidden gem with beautiful gardens and grounds really attentive and friendly staff. The food was very good quality and plentiful. We were in room nine which had a terrace and balcony overlooking part of the garden from the main house couldn’t of asked for more. No Aircon but there was a fan in the room.

A great discovery

We found this hotel to be everything we needed for an overnight stay. The rooms have been recently refurbished and are well appointed. We had a lovely evening meal in the restaurant, and the breakfast was great. Would definitely consider staying again.
