Stopped off in Magdeburg on my way to Berlin and opted for Mercure hotel. Staff were very friendly and approachable. Room was clean, comfortable and had good WiFi coverage. Bike friendly, which was a bonus. Would happily use again

Comfortable bed. Decent shower (though a shower curtain rather than a screen). Kettle in the room. Underground parking (charged extra). We paid £10 each extra in the room rate for breakfast - this was quite disappointing, possibly as a result of not having many guests

Die Zimmer zur Straße waren sehr laut. Straßenbahn fährt ständig. gegenüber ist eine Bar sehr laut. sehr warm und keine Klimaanlage. An Schlaf nicht zu denken. Zimmer zum Hof sind ruhig und angenehm. Zimmer zur Straße würde ich auf keinen Fall mehr buchen. Frühstücksbuffett sehr viel und gut.
