Disappointed
Police Scotland communication to not travel so we had to cancel our booking through no fault of our own. We understand the no refund policy for no shows but this would have meant us going against police advice and out our lives in danger during a red warning alert. We are very disappointed that the hotel could not see beyond a policy in favour of logic and adverse weather. We were also deeply disappointed that having paid for a room the hotel didn’t avail themselves if offering it to a homeless person as we requested, to keep someone safe and off the streets of Glasgow during the storm.
