Near bars and no soundproofing
The lobby and lift area had a very strong machine/diesel (?) smell and would make me gag. The soundproofing of the rooms weren’t great either. Being close to the lift, we could hear the guests outside every day and night. The hotel location was about 6 mins from the nearest station, 2 minutes from the Dontonbori district but I would think it’s a rowdy area - we saw drunkards every night cos there were alot of bars around the hotel. NYE was worst - a lot of tourists and foreign workers drunk on the street, and littering everywhere.

Good stay close to namba station and dotonbori. We stayed in two different room types and the first room with a pole in the middle of the room felt small and hard to open luggages. The second room was more standard and feels a bit more spacious without the pole. Massage chairs and happy hour is a plus. Reception was able to help me prepare and ship my luggage. Overall great stay.

I like the amenities, they provide masks which are really nice. We love the massage chair in the lobby. We definitely need some refresh after a long shopping day. They also provide sake, cupnoodles at certain time.

Less than 5 min walk to Dotonbori street and about a 7 min walk to the entrance to Shinsaibashi shopping district. The hotel amenities were awesome for our kids. Nice big seating area in the lobby, free cold and hot drinks, free alcohol and free ice cream after a certain time. They also host fun cultural activities that you can watch/partake in. The beds were comfortable and on the stiffer side (which I like). The room was small but we managed by pushing the beds together and laying out a large and small suitcase with some walking space. Bathroom was cramped but clean. We chose no daily cleaning and we received fresh towels and bottles of water outside our door every day. Coin laundry was available and easy to use. Their breakfast buffet had a lot of variety and they change things up a little every day. I looked forward to it every morning because it was the only good sit down meal my toddlers would eat. All in all I'd stay here again for sure.

The location is very good. However, many things about the hotel during our stay wasn’t up to standards. We found mold growing near the ac, when we notified the front desk they had the technician come and wipe it but nothing else was done. Later that day we found a roach running around on the floor. The front desk was kind to move us to a different larger room after being notified of the roach. Overall experience left much to be desired.
