2/10 Poor

Avoid this place, warning picture trap!!
I recently stayed at the A-Frame Club Hotel for what was supposed to be a 10-night trip, but my experience was deeply disappointing. While the property has a charming aesthetic, the functionality and service leave much to be desired.
Here are the key issues we faced during our stay:
1- The furniture, though stylish, is impractical. There is no dining table despite having a kitchenette, the oversized lounge chair takes up space but serves no real purpose, and there’s minimal storage space for unpacking or bathroom toiletries. The luggage stand was unusable, and the upstairs tub, while visually appealing, was impractical.
2- The kitchenette lacked basic essentials like a blender, the pans were excessively heavy, and overall, it was not equipped for actual use.
3- Our room was not cleaned for several days.
Snow was never shoveled from our front door, making it messy and unsafe.
The fireplace didn’t work, and the fan controls had no batteries.
My wife had a serious accident on the mountain requiring surgery, we had to leave early. I asked the front desk if they could help with a refund for the unused nights, but I was told there was nothing they could do because I booked through hotels.com/expedia. The response was dismissive and lacked empathy.
I reached out to the General Manager with my concerns before posting this review, but I received no response.
Overall, this stay was uncomfortable, frustrating, and not worth the premium price.
