Great
This hotel is great if you have appointments in any of the Virginia mason buildings. There is a walk through so you don’t have to travel the exterior street. Even if you are not using the hospital it would be a great comfortable place to stay. It’s a steep hill down to pikes place. Or better a bus ride can take you there. Good food around the corner

Very easy to work with
Most of the front desk staff is wonderful but there are a few duds. Staff was very easy to work with when my husband’s stay at the hospital kept getting extended. Even telling me when they were going to be fully booked so I knew in advance. They were very accommodating and I appreciated that.

It was so cold in the room we needed extra blankets. The thermostat in the room didn't work, when we asked the staff they said "it's an old building."

We have stayed here a couple times when family members are going in for surgery. It was built in the 1920's rooms are large but quiet dated bathroom door wouldn't lock or even shut all the way. Conveniently located connected to Virginia mason

The hotel itself was OK. It's an older building so we weren't expecting the Ritz. It was within walking distance to the Swedish Hill Campus as that's where our daughter was having surgery.
The Internet was as slow as molasses in January and the TV stations were fuzzy/pixilated. Unfortunately, we won't be staying here again.

Great Spot for Hospital Guests & Outpatients
Fantastic staff, friendly and helpful and communicative - so hugely appreciated when you're visiting while a close loved one is in surgery at the adjoining hospital. Junior suite room was spacious with an equally giant bathroom. All very clean, cozy, even quiet which I wouldn't have expected in central Seattle. Thanks for a great experience!

I stayed in a Standard King Suite and was pleasantly surprised with how spacious it was. While not fancy or new, it was comfortable and very convenient for hospital visits. I liked having a fridge/microwave and the roof top was nice too. There was a laundry facility we could use across the street at the Baroness, which was much appreciated. Parking was available by the hospital for $20/day.
