Highly recommend it especially during fall/winter!
We stayed at the one bedroom condo which was amazing. The view from our patio and room was stunning. My husband was able to enjoy his Mountain View while I enjoyed my lake view. Best of both worlds. It’s our second time at this place and will definitely be back.

Location location location makes this a great place to stay. Being on the beautiful beach at Lake Tahoe was wonderful...beautiful views out our window...and all rooms have this view. Liked the gas fireplace flickering & heating the room. Good location to start multiple hikes and activities around the lake too. This was clean & very comfortable. Nice pool & hot tub as well.

I really enjoyed this hotel! This was a solo trip but I plan to bring my kids next summer and stay here again. I could walk out of my patio to the beach, which was my favorite part. The beds were more firm but that’s my preference so it worked good for me but other travels may need a softer bed. The kitchenette is nice to have. I didn’t get in the pool but I did hit the hot tub a couple of times and that was very relaxing! The chemicals were off one night and it bleached out my swimsuit but I reported it to the staff and she notified maintenance right away. It was the perfect location for walking to dining and even as a solo (female) traveler I never felt unsafe.

The staff and the location are great. The mattress, however, was sunk on one side. The other side was OK. It is an old hotel so a change of carpets would help too.

Beautiful Location!
The location is absolutely beautiful. Room could use a facelift. The front desk was really pleasant upon our arrival and departure. Only negative comment is bathtub is VERY SLIPPERY and no tub mat was left. My sister slipped and hit her head really hard. Owners really need to replace their old SLIPPERY tubs. I recommend this place for a nice leisurely getaway!

4/10 Fair

PROS: 1) Right on the beach, great view. 2) Spacious. 3) has a kitchenette with a full size fridge, microwave, oven, some cooking/utensils, coffee maker, toaster. 3) Volleyball court available 4) Good size pool available (from 3ft to 8ft deep); jacuzzi available. 5) Walking distance to stores and some restaurants. CONS: 1) Very noisy. You can hear people’s conversations around you. Footsteps from above your floor. Floor creeks with every step. You would be awaken by noise coming from every direction so sleeping-in was not an option. 2) No A/C (but fans were made available). We kept our sliding door open to let some cool fresh air in but made the noise around our room more distinct. 3) Sliding screen door does not lock. We felt a bit uneasy for leaving the sliding door open while we slept. 4) Front door does not have an extra lock for safety while indoors. Actual metal keys were provided instead of the usual key cards. I’m not sure how easy it is for anyone (prior guests) to make extra copies and come back anytime. This thought made me feel unsafe since the door did not provide an extra layer of protection (chain or metal safety lock) while sleeping. 5) Bathroom sink is too low for tall people. My husband is 6’3 and he had to bend down awkwardly every time he needed to use the faucet/sink. In summary, would I stay at this place again? HARD NO. I think the only thing going for this motel-quality hotel is the view of the lake. We overpaid (more than $1200) for 4 nights.

Excellent lakefront location. Property is a little dated - thin walls so it gets a little noisy in the room. Staff were kind, friendly, accommodating, and quick to respond to requests.
