First of all, the location is picture-perfect! Seriously gorgeous! It is a quiet hotel. I believe our grandson was the only kid there. The pool was nice. The fairy garden was an unexpected surprise. My grandson was in heaven running through the paths and finding all the fairy trees, caves, and other secret places. He also enjoyed playing table tennis.
The room itself was okay. I loved the bathroom because it had large countertops which is difficult to find in hotels these days. The shower was a bit tricky -- it took about 10 minutes to find a temperature that wasn't cold or scalding. The Nespresso maker only came with 2 pods for espresso-size cups, which was disappointing, but the cappuccino at breakfast was delicious so that made up for it.
The buffet breakfast was good. The indoor and outdoor pools were nice, but the floors around the indoor pool are slick when wet! We did not use the spa facilities. The fitness center is small but adequate. We had lunch by the pool one day and the food was good. The food and drink menu are limited though.
