We are visiting Louisville to attend a Louisville Women’s Basketball game at the Yum Center. It’s super convenient to stay at the Galt House. The garage is self parking adjacent to the hotel. If you stay in the East Tower, the pedestrian bridge is on the 3rd floor to the venue. Then, several dining options are onsite. We felt safe with the crowds, who were elderly, walking to and from the venue back to the room at night too.

Great location, spacious but basic rooms
location is top notch, walking to many great bars and restaurants, also by the water. The hotel staff was alright, didn't seem to want to go over and beyond as such (which is OK). We had a suite, so the room was huge with a big balcony, but surprisingly basic (the rooms were super old). The lobby and common areas seem upgraded, not the rooms. There are many good options in the area, but location-wise i would recommend this.

The front desk staff was AMAZING. We were upgraded to one of the residents suites and it was perfect for our group. Lots of space! Really needs an update and a good deep clean but it served its purpose and the balcony and view were amazing.

Beautiful hotel with plenty of amenities. Food options are on level 3 and have good prices. Starbucks is available. Parking does cost 30 a day. There is access to the Yum center which worked out so well as we were there for volleyball final four. I would stay here again.
