One of the five oldest hotels in Quito. If you prefer historic properties this is a good choice. The rooms are quaintly dated and very clean. There is an excelkent view of the city from their rooftop terrace. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful.

The hotel is amazing. You feel as if you are stepping back in time. Right in the heart of the city. Walkable during the day...but after dark it is best to take a taxi or Uber. Both of which are easily accessible.

Nice accommodations on a very busy street
Very good location in the historic area There were many choices in the colonial area, but I felt this one gave the best bang for the buck No on site parking but parking is available within a 5 to 10 minute walk away Better to park your car and then walk with your bags to the reception desk This is my opinion

This property is over 400 years old. It is beautiful outside and inside. I stayed in a basic double room. It was small but enough for one person. It was clean & tidy. The hot water takes a while to start but it does and the shower was nice. The free breakfast was basic but good, the coffee was good too. The staff were super friendly and very helpful, especially when I needed a taxi to get to another hotel - the young man at the front desk ordered one for me, made sure a price was agreed upon before they picked me up so there would be no problems with payment. It is walkable to the main tourist attractions and there is plenty open during the day. Just be aware most of the area is shut after 8pm, so if you arrive just before then or after, you will need to order Ubereats because it’s definitely not safe to be wandering about at night.
