A great place to stay.
Albanopolis is a modern, clean and comfortable hotel which is well situated for a visit to Tirana. It is not in the centre of town but is well within 15 minutes walking distance of the Central Square.
The staff are friendly and helpful and it is excellent value.

Might be back again
It was only one night, so it was brief, but it was very nice. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the room was excellent. The breakfast was understocked a bit, but overall it was a nice stay.

Don't trust hotels.com map!!!
My main complaint is more related to the map on the hotels.com web site. It's wrong! I chose this hotel because of its supposed location near the center of Tirana. But when I got to Tirana I discovered that the hotel is actually about a half mile further out into the city, away from the center. In a somewhat dicey neighborhood. Nice hotel, but don't trust the hotels.com map, if you are choosing this hotel because of the location.

Location is great- easy 15 min. walk to Skandenberg Square. Room is comfortable. Air Conditioning and Wifi worked great. I would definitely stay at Albanopolis again and I would recommend it to everyone

Hands down, the most comfortable beds in all of Tirana.... All of Albania! Memory foam pillows with a delightful mattress topper & crisp linens made for an amazing nights sleep.
The in room jacuzzi tub, big screen HDTV & Albanian fry up breakfast made us feel pampered for our entire stay.

Good choice in Tirana
Hotel staff are extremely helpful and welcoming.
Room is clean and spacious. Air conditioning works fine.
The hotel location is pretty good. Walking distance to several museums.
There is a good-size supermarket in the basement of Ring Center, a less than 5-minute walk from the hotel.
There are also different dining options around the hotel.

Big hopes, how strange it was
Having arrived in Albania with high hopes, these were very soon swept away. Got thru customs to get a taxi and once in a taxi things became strange. Taxi had to ring the hotel to see if it was open, strange. Once we arrived we were greeted by a very lovely young lady who immediately looked scared. We were asked for papers that should have been given at customers/ security to say we had been checked from the virus. Knowone at the airport got these papers. Police came. A doctor was required to check us so that we could check in. We were told we had to sign a paper to say we would stay for 2 weeks in the hotel. My god what’s happening no one could tell us.after 3 hours we were allowed to our room, we had booked for 3 nights.next morning we were told police had directed that the hotel could not provide any food to us and we needed find another hotel ( much more expensive) we booked at the next hotel for 3 more nights as we again got told we had to stay for that many nights. Both sets of information were wrong. We could have left after 1 day on any flight available.we weren’t not provided any refund from the booked 2 nights that overlapped accomodation which we felt unfair. The hotel staff could not have been more helpful but they 2 were not given incorrect information and we couldnt speak to anyone from an official point so that we could arrange to leave.it was very scary times
