Early morning disturbance
Hotels was ok. We could have done without the loud leaf blower at 5:45 am till 6:45 am from the property next door. Our room closely borded the property line. Nice gentleman at the front desk was asked about it and he really didn’t have much to say. Not even an apology for the early morning inconvenience.

Never again
I stayed there because I was having surgery the next day at Rex's hospital. Got up at 3:30 am and there was no hot water. Had to take cold shower. Ask people at front desk about the tv they just said they couldn't help us with that. So we couldn't even watch tv.

It was good. Guys at check in were nice. Explaining breakfast in the morning and checking out. Breakfast was good, hot, oh and they have great coffee! This hotel is right by State Fairgrounds NC State Veterinary Hospital and across the street from PNC and Football team practice field

Slow drainage on sink. Toilet would not flush fully unless you fully held the flush handle down. Random silverfish would appear. Shower heads look old and are yellowed, but they still function just looks dated. Odd smell outside the hallway corridor, almost moldy. Fresh handtowels had pubic hair in them. Entire hotel feels dated and needs a remodeling.

State Fair Getaway
Price was good. Location was good. We had a problem finding the elevator which was in the middle of the complex and then still had a bit of a problem finding our room when we got to the second floor. We ended up being very close to the stairs so we just used them. Staff was courteous. Overall we were reasonably satisfied but I feel this hotel is in need of an update.

The internet service is terrible. the service in the room barely functioned, and I had to go to the lobby to connect to do basic things. unless this was remedied, i'm not sure i'd stay here again. The staff was friendly and the hotel was in very good condition for its age. Good location
