"Staying overnight in a pyramid glass igloo ... wow! what an incredible experience! We stayed a night in the Elve's village during Christmas time and it was the highlight of our trip. Kids thoroughly enjoyed playing in snow, day and night. Many activities around for adults and kids, the parks, reindeers, snowmobile, ice house, frozen river, elves etc. etc. all excellent. The restaurant served good quality food -

and dinner inclusive, decorated with beautiful Finland culture. Rooms...

"The location is excellent in the middle of several fells. Good hiking trails and scenic walking trails (and cross-country skiing tracks in winter) start from the hotel. The restaurant of the hotel is one of the best in Lapland. The

buffet is excellent, too. It also includes local specialties, e.g. spruce shoot fruitie, lingonberry vanilla smoothie and cloudberry jam. The log building is historical (built in 1948) but unfortunately the rooms need renovation. They are quite cozy but many...

"We stayed in a very dated apartment (I believe they are in the process of renovating), but it was large and mostly clean. It had a kitchen and a sauna. The hotel has a restaurant with a view of a lake. The food quality was great! There was also a pool, but we never tried it."
