Sarajevo is applauded for its local culture, with enlightening attractions such as Sarajevo Tunnel Museum and Sarajevo 1878–1918. This historical city has something for everyone including cafes and sights like Eternal Flame and National Museum of Bosnia and Herzegovina—all within a rural setting.
For a country that has suffered so much in quite recent times they make the best of what they have. The city is beautiful with lots of nice sites. Reminders of the war are everywhere and it's rightly so they remain, no one cannot ever forget.

Lovely place to visit. Great history, people, and food. Would definitely recommend 2-3 days there. They are a great people that are trying hard to rebuild after a horrible genocide that they suffered.

Very interesting place where so different cultures and religions meet. The city with cruel and heroic history looks guite and friendly today. Tasty food by less price than in neigbour Montenegro.

Sarajevo is a beautiful city rich in history. I wasn't able to see much in my limited time, but the gondola and bobsled track were very cool. Fog was an issue at the airport.

This was my first time in Sarajevo and it was an incredible education for me on the Bosnian War. The city itself is lovely with good food and lots to see.

Fascinating city. The main downside was the traffic which was bad coming in from the west. Parking was limited but not impossible.

Loved the city. The green mountains, the narrow streets, the cafes, bazaars, the food. Everything.

Such a rich and complex history with lovely, kind people everywhere we went!!
"Amazing staff and service. Beautiful hotel. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, made it so special. If I ever return to Sarajevo, will definitely stay here again."
"Good location (easy to walk to main attractions), quiet, clean, spacious, decent breakfast and appreciated the fridge/cooking facilities in the room. Airport shuttle service was reliable and communication with the hotel was good."
"I can't say enough good things about this hotel!
It's right in the middle of Sarajevo's historic old town, but tucked away enough that traffic noise isn't too much of a problem.
When I walked in I told the lady at the desk, "I think I'm in the right place" and she said, "Yes you are, Erik." She already knew who I was.
I asked about a cab to the airport for an early morning flight and she set up a ride with a member of the hotel's staff that was cheaper than a cab. (And she shared a bag of popcorn with me!)
On the morning when I checked out, the hotel's internet was having problems and the worker couldn't run my credit card. So he took my information and turned on the coffee machine (four hours before they serve breakfast) so I could have a cappuccino while I waited for my ride to the airport. Amazing service!
It's a boutique hotel with really nice, clean rooms. Mine had two skylights that could be shuttered remotely. The included breakfast was wonderful.
You can walk from the hotel to all of the historic churches, mosques and museums. I recommend the cable car lifts up the mountain for incredible views. (Look for the abandoned bobsled tracks from the 1984 Winter Olympics.) When I think of Sarajevo, I only think about the wars in the 1990s but this city is so much more.
The only possible negative is that the road outside the hotel is extremely busy and has very narrow sidewalks. And the motorists speed by. So be careful crossing the street."
"good hotel. better than was expecting based off the price! the room was clean, the bed was comfy the bathroom was clean and shower was great too.
the location is amazing. super central and close to everything you want to see "
