"Booked this hotel through Expedia prior to my trip, when I landed in Colombo I received a text message from a French (+33) number saying that my booking at The Coconut would be cancelled, and that the prices I had booked were no longer valid! My only choices were to cancel the booking or pay the "new prices" which were 3x higher!
I ended up saying I didn't want the booking and found other accommodations. I actually went to the hotel during my trip where the front desk person was frustrated...

"The Danish Villa is set in a peaceful garden away from the road and staffed by friendly staff. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable.
The beach is seconds away and so are many places to eat.

Conveniently located on the main street where all the action is, with street parking right by the boundary wall—super easy! 🚗 The rooms are clean, though the linens and toiletries could use a little upgrade. But the real MVP? Indaka, the super friendly and helpful staff member. Perfect if you're into surfing or swimming at the nearby sea! ….a walk on...
