"Las Catalinas Coronado was a very pleasant. The staff were friendly and were more then accommodating when it came to putting up with our lack of speaking Spanish. "Although it is a little isolated of a location and a challenge to get to, it was well worth the trip. The isolated location means the beach is not overcrowd. Their was construction going on during our stay but the noise didn't bother us too much. Great view of the beach from our room and we loved having the kitchenette. The breakfast was also very nice. We would come back."

There are a couple of surf schools just up the road where the kids had lessons. Yes parts of the hotel could do with some updating/redecoration but this did not detract from a lovely stay. "
