"At checkin, system was down and we did not get the room we paid for. This was corrected by Frontdesk later that evening. Hotel has huge windows with amazing views but in June (summer) the hotel becomes a furnace. The room and public areas were just too hot for our comfort. There are no airconditioned rooms or areas in the hotel and we could not excape the heat other than go back in our car and drive around. "Please book for more than one day. Unfortunately we only had one night and it was not enough. This is a beautifully curated property. Clean, comfortable, artistically decorated with one of a kind views. The heated pool was lovely. The food was delicious. Make sure to book dinner ahead of time is you wish to eat dinner at the hotel. If not, they will call a cab to take you in to town. I hope to be able to return to casa de alto in the future. "
