Would definitely stay again
I booked because of its convenience to the train station. Excellent links to the airport and about a 15 minute walk to Christiansborg Palace. Room is basic but clean and if stopping for a city break what more do you need? Check in / out is very efficient and breakfast is good value with fabulous views across the city.

Only had a couple of days to see the City. Wakeup Bernstorffsgade was in an excellent location for walking from the train station (train to airport), into the city centre and to the waterfront.

Great little base!
This hotel is in a great central location, so was an ideal base for exploring the city and accessing the train aswell! Staff are super friendly! The rooms are fairly compact, although beds are comfortable and have all you need! Breakfast is worth it for the view alone, the restaurant is on the 10th floor so you have a view of the whole city 😍 My only gripe really is that there is no latch on the window so it can be fully opened, which isnt ideal when you have kids in the room, so somethings to watch out for, as they're large enough for an adult to fit through let alone a child.

Decent for a long layover
The staff and atmosphere were great. It’s small like a basic cruise ship room size, but I didn’t mind it for just me. It could’ve been a little cleaner. It was surface clean, but could use a real deep cleaning. A stayed there just to sleep, so I was in and out.

What I will say it is pretty good for the price, but I think for what you get it should be maximum £45 per night. The mattress is not really a mattress, but rather an insert, the carpet was dirty when I arrived and there were dark hairs all over the bedding. The lounge/ reception area is really good though and if you can get it at around 40 a night (and you are only staying one night) then this is not a bad choice

I won't come back
I was expecting better service during my stay, but unfortunately, I was disappointed. There is no minibar in the room, so I wasn’t able to keep any drinks cold. I was told I could not use or leave items in the reception’s fridge either. Whenever I needed assistance or information, the service was not friendly or helpful. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, and the mattress kept slipping. Additionally, no floor towel was provided, even though the shower box caused water to spill all over the bathroom floor. Despite the price and location, I would not recommend this hotel. It was a frustrating experience.

Our stay didn't start really well, first you need to pay for an early check in, even when the room is ready, and we were given a room at our arrival which was already taken by other guests, which was a little awkward for us. We then got another room, the receptionist was very friendly and helpful in the matter. Although at the new room there was trash in the bathroom from previous guests, which was still left there even after we informed the reception. But besides that the hotel was good, it is in walking distance to nearly everything and the staff was great, and friendly. All in all a good stay!

Very small and nonfunctional room. No mini fridge nor space for clothes and such. Paper cups for water. Tap water was never really cold so you cant really drink it. No working restaurant for dinner, only a small mini store att the reception where you can buy a limited amount drinks and snacks.

When I was told on check in day (I was 2 hours early) that I had to pay 20 DKK for self storage locker at basement , I was appalled. But later when I checked the left locker rate at train station .. is 70 DKK so is probably cheaper to do so at hotel. I felt this could have been a complimentary service to guests Other than this .. the hotel is located next to canal. u can see brave people swimming in the cold waters of Jan. is located about 11 mins walk from bus terminal.. n 10 mins walk to Central station Thus to me , is strategically located . A short walk to shopping . dinner options . I strolled slowly to the National Museum talking in the sights . I think there will be many activities in the summer months in the canal . But is cool to have a cup of take away coffee n sit along the canal n zone out in the cold months . The bed is comfy enough though the pillows too small n soft to my liking . There’s a IKEA store and a big shopping centre n IMAX near to bus terminal Thus I recommend this place !

Location
I see why people are complaining about the mild and cleaning. When I checked in the card about housekeeping protocol on my bed had a nice piece of sticky gum on the back of it and at rhetorical end of the bed-on the floor there were food wrappers and an empty plastic bottle. All of that should have been noticed. As for the mold in the shower. That is actually there but it's not a cleaning issue-that's a maintenance matter. They need to rip out the old caulk-which has the mold and is impossible to get rid of-and simply recaulk the shower. Easy 30 minute + dry time fix. I would now like to remind everyone that this is a budget hotel and you should expect accordingly. It would be helpful if they made the following widely know-there are extra towels and bedding in a drawer under the bed! That said, the rooms are adequate in size, the bed was comfortable. The bathroom is not at all private-if sharing with someone you're not intimate with you will have changed that by end of the stay. It's super close to the rail station and bus stops are all around. It's safe, it's affordable, the staff ate very nice and if they get a handle on the cleaning protocol and remediation with the caulking there will honestly be nothing to flat them about at this price point.

Regarding my recent stay wakeup copenhagen on Bernstorffsgade 35, Copenhagen, 1577 Denmark Firstly, this is by no means a reflection of your staff on duty, as your staff were very friendly. Mistakes happen in life and business, however its perfectly acceptable to share my experience when its negative. The issue = I was laying on the bed in my hotel room, I dropped my laptop USB, it feel under the bed. Whilst looking for it, i grabbed something, which felt strange. It was 3 Condoms, with Human Semen inside. Or something else that looked like semen. Real nasty, real horrible. I went down to the reception desk, however there were people with the staff, and i felt quite embarrassed to raise it with them. I wasn't going to complain, but my friend who works in Copenhagen said that i should complain. I put the Condoms down the toilet and washed my hands. Of course it affected my state of mind and peace. Its not something one wishes to find. I hope you can understand my reasoning of complaining. Again, i stress that your staff are very professional and friendly.
