I booked this hotel for my parents and they enjoyed the stay during a city break in Budapest. It was a little complicated to book a smart hotel for them, since they are in their 70s, but we managed eventually and staff were helpful as well. Thank you

The hotel is well situated in the city. But it is very loud inside ( the elevator, the heating, air condition, it is not possible to open the window in the night because of the noise.) It was a little bit dirty under the bed. There is no lamp for reading outside the bed. The breakfast is not good enough for 4**** Eating is not sustainable, too much waste.

Excellent hotel
Great location, staff were very friendly. Room were clean. My smart card didn't work but the member of staff provide me with a room card. Located closed to all what you need for drinks and food.

KViHotel was located in a good part of Budapest. There were lots of bars, restaurants and cafes within walking distance. It was also only a 10 minute walk to the Metro. The room was spacious and the bed was comfy. The windows however were not sound proof. We struggled to sleep on the Saturday night as we believe there was a bad located outside. The following nights were quieter. Disappointingly, there was no shampoo or conditioner provided, which we believe is the bare minimum. The Bluetooth key system could be fiddly sometimes but worked okay overall.

The hotel is very nice, and the service was incredible, the two ladies and the young man at the front desk were so nice and welcoming. The rooms are clean and nice. The hotel has a good location, there is plants of restaurants in the area.

Great hotel, I had a lovely stay here. Very clean and modern. Staff were great. Only bad thing was that the walls are very thin, we could hear people talk on outside the hotel and could hear people in the adjourning rooms. But overall, great hotel!

Sticky Unclean Linen
I was given a dirty blanket with a sticky residue and requested a new blanket using the desk phone and my personal phone. I was told since there was no staff on site that I would not be able to have a clean blanket until the next day. I had to sleep in a room with no blanket and I was hung up on the first time and when I called back I was given a supervisor’s number to see if the situation could be handled, but they did not answer the phone.

First things first, the location is unbeatable. As a young traveller, it’s only a short walk from bars & nightlife which was perfect for what we wanted on this trip. However, the app keycard feature of this hotel was anxiety inducing before we even arrived Hungary. To check-in you need to download an app (I would suggest doing before you arrive) and use your confirmation details - for us this didn’t work and we had to contact the hotel for them to check us in. Next, our flight was delayed meaning that we arrived at 3am so no staff available on-site to assist. We let ourselves into the building and went to our allocated room - but we were unable to turn on any lights and there was no electricity in the room. We called the emergency number and ended up being upgraded - which worked out well but obviously an added stress and not what you want at 3am. The breakfast included was good - I am dairy free and rice milk was available which I was very thankful for in my morning coffee. Air-conditioning, windows and blinds are all controlled by a panel - which took some getting used to but managed to figure out. Overall very good - but don’t think I would stay again due to the stress with electronic key card system.

I’m going to keep this simple. The location was perfect. The hotel in general was really nice. However. For what this hotel is, I was expecting more in regards to details. One of my biggest issues is when a hotel does not quality control their rooms. I can tell that the service being supplied by the workers there in regards to cleaning rooms is probably going to be subpar. Meaning corners are cut. And I can only say this from what I saw when I was there this past weekend in April 12 through the 15th 2024. I found something wrong in my room, I’ll bet you there are many other rooms just like it. For one thing, something so simple as the toilet paper dispenser. I don’t know what happened, but it was screwed into the wall with probably one screw and then caulked Cheaply. I have a picture to upload if it lets me. There was a piece of sheet rock missing to the right side of the toilet, and it just looked ridiculous. When I lifted the toilet seat, I saw yellow, and dark, yellow, dry urine around the under rim. And probably a quarter inch speck of dried poop. I was not happy with it, but I didn’t realize it until the third day there. I actually went to one of my colleagues room up on the sixth floor in a really nice space. And her toilet paper dispenser was exactly like mine. I said to myself this is what they are passing off and are happy with. SMH! More attention to detail and better workmanship, and fellness needs to be addressed. Front desk staff were fantastic.
