Quiet peaceful surrounding around the accommodation. 15mins walk to kawaramchi area.
Accommodation space is much more spacious than normal hotel for 2 adults with 2 children. Need self cleaning of the accommodation during the stay. Will come back again

Love the property and the room. The location of the property is also convenient. However, the bed corner is too close to the wall. Therefore, need to be cautious when we walk else will get hurt by the sharp bed corner. Everything else are good and we enjoyed our stay.

Room was pretty clean and spacious for family of five. Not too far from bus stops and train stations. Check in process was not convenient at all. I couldn't understand why we had to check in at the small office space near JR Kyoto station. The small office space was packed full of travelers. We had to wait about 15 min. To check in. They have a shuttle bus to the hotels, but we had to wait for 45 minutes, so we took a cab to the hotel location from the building we checked in. When we stayed at another apartment style hotel in Osaka, we got an access code to get in the building and key code to the key box by email. It was so easy and convenient. I don't understand why they can't do the same. Also the hotel building had a counter space at the entrance to check people in. That could have been utilized. All in all, I
liked the room, but the check in process was ridiculous.

Great room, terrible check-in
We showed up at the hotel at about 10pm only to find the building locked. It turns out that the reception desk is actually 2.6km away from the actual hotel in another building, but they email you a code to get your key out of a keybox. However, didn't send the email to us explaining this until the day of. As we were traveling from out-of-country, we didn't notice the email do to a lack of wi-fi. Luckily, another guest let us in and we were able to call someone to give us the code to get a key for our room. We still had to take a subway into the actual reception center the next day to complete the check-in process, a major hassle considering our tight schedule. This is the first hotel we have ever been to without on-site staff and check-in. The room was great, though, but having to travel out to the reception center was horrible. This needs more advanced notice.

This hotel was the best out of the three I stayed at for my Japan trip. It was extremely clean and comfortable. The only negative is that it is kind of far from Kyoto station, but I would definitely stay here again.

Modern, spec’d out and spacious
Very modern, spacious and comfortable with a little kitchenette and free washer/drier conveniently located on each floor so we didn’t have to go far. For a young family to have our own kitchenette was a pleasant surprise as I failed to notice that detail when I booked. The kitchenette includes microwave, sink and electric stovetop (perfect for sterilising baby bottles). Downside is it’s a bit further away from Nishiki Market where we found we frequented often during our stay. And there is no daily room cleaning service but we were ok with that. It’s fitted with USB ports at the bed head to conveniently charge devices AND they have Apple TV (for AirPlay) and Netflix in their tv. Very handy to be able to put the kids’ shows on tv to give us time to wind down.
