Best Starting Point for 2 Epic Castles
The biggest selling point for this hotel is its proximity to Hohenshwangau and Neuschwanstein. It is perfect walking distance to both castles. The staff were all friendly and helpful (as well as multi-lingual). I am looking forward to coming back here next time I am in Bavaria.

If you visit Hohenschwangau castle or Newschwanstein Castle, this is the best place to choose. Great Hotel, Great Breakfast, Great Staff ! We had dinner here both nights and it was marvelous. I highly recommend :-)

We liked that it had an elevator. However, we did not like a particular evening waiter with red hair and mustache. He needs more training. He brings one dish out to a table of 2 and the one person has to wait a good amount of time until the other meal is brought out.

Great location! Close to everything…horse carriages are right across and bus is a 2 minute walk. Only thing that could be improved is the breakfast. Fruit was old and scrambled eggs and bacon were cold even though we showed up 10 minutes after breakfast started.

I was not happy Expedia did not pass on the information that I needed two beds. Apparently that is common for Expedia to not pass on all the information. Wonderful hotel very close to both sites. Quiets down after 5pm when all visitors depart. Good breakfast, and dinner. Only complaint are rooms are hot if weather is hot but fans kept it tolerable. Staff was excellent.
