Absolutely loved my stay at Riad Hodou! Abdel and Abdella were amazing hosts! From the first day we arrived we were taken care of! Riad Houdou is an excellent Riad to stay in if you want to experience the Medina first hand. The staff is excellent and the food is great. They are in walking distance to many of what you are looking to visit within the Medina (shopping, restaurants, etc...). The only knock is that everything is cash based, which they let you know up hand, but just make sure you plan accordingly. Even with this, I would still recommend staying here. Enjoy Marrakech (the Red City).

My family had a lovely stay at Riad Houdou. The service was excellent, Abdel the manager was particularly helpful and had a wealth of tips for our family's trip in Marrakesh. The property is located 10-15min walk from the main square and it is an oasis of calm, with all the usual amenities (including free filtered water, kettle in the room). Would definitely stay again.

Family friendly and Beautiful hotel. the hotel that was very clean and chic and their behavior was excellent and they surprised us for our anniversary and gave us a luxurious suite and a private pool. The person who saw us (Didier) was very friendly and kind and taught us a lot about the map of Marrakech and the sights and customs and shopping in the markets. I strongly recommend it to friends. The Riad itself is amazing, wonderful architecure and decor. The staff were very helpful and accomodating. Can't find anything negative to say. If you find the Medina overwhelming this Hotel is well positioned as although it isn't far from the busy streets, you aren't directly on them so you won't be stepping directly out into the madness and there aren't any noise concerns.

Exceptionally friendly and helpful owners and staff without being intrusive. Really useful advice on arrival about customs, where to go, how to be safe. Marrakesh is quite a culture shock for first timers until you get used to it but the teams help was great. Wish we had had in out first trip a few years ago Although the Riad Houdou isnt a restaurant, we would recommend eating there at least once. You need to book it before 11 though. Thoroughly recommend

Wow! What an amazing property and introduction to Morocco and Marrakech. I arranged for the airport transfer through the riad, and that was super convenient and affordable. The driver was waiting for us just outside the airport and dropped us off, and we were met by a guide who carried our luggage in a cart through the medina to the riad. The riad itself was beautiful. The main courtyard full of roses. We arranged for dinner to be provided the night we arrived. It may have been the best meal I have ever eaten. Incredible greeting mint tea and pastries, when we arrived, and then the dinner, a fantastic starter, wonderfully delicious tagine, and an amazing dessert. We had early departures and they arranged for a breakfast to go for us one day and an early breakfast the other. The location was perfect for us. The rooftop terrace was a beautiful setting for breakfast or an evening glass of wine with olives. The service was amazing.

I took my dad (74) on a weekned here and it was the perfect quiet retreat that contrasted against the busy souks perfectly. Super, super friendly and helpful owners and staff who went above and beyond to help us. Wonderful breakfast, very clean, definitely the best mint tea I had during our stay in Morocco too.
