Lovely hotel. Would happily stay there again. Very good location. Very walkable. There is a quiet elegance about the hotel and our room was lovely. Quiet. Minimal staff presence. There was someone at reception only from noon to 7:00 pm., but this in no way presented a problem. Everything was looked after and help available if needed.

Renovated 200 year old house on a quiet street in the Old City but near all attractions. Beautifully renovated with a contemporary style and conveniences. But no elevator and steep stairs—3rd floor for the younger set. But reception clerk help with the baggage. Bathroom had fancy shower and large soaker tub. Free parking a short walk away.

The location was perfect and the décor of the room was very modern and stylish however, there was a stain on our bedsheets upon arrival and we found a hairtie on the floor suggesting it maybe had not been cleaned thoroughly. Also, the light switches seemed to be in odd locations — you could not turn the lights off upstairs from downstairs which meant coming down the stairwell in darkness. The staff were very helpful and explained everything thoroughly!

Clean and comfortable. Room was good size. Shower and bath are excellent. It just takes a couple minutes for the hot water to get flowing, but it will get very hot when it gets there. Only two things I would change. 1. The coffee maker is great if you don’t like regular coffee ( we went to Tim Hortons every morning because they only had espresso machines). 2. Thermostat was locked ( while the temperature was good, it’s still nice to have control)

We really enjoyed our stay! Paula is a wonderful Hostess! She made sure everything was perfect for us and had so much information to share. The location is perfect for walking to everything in Old Quebec City! Every evening we would walk up the hill to The Citadel and watch the sunset over the beautiful St Lawrence River and the Chateau!

Great location, easy walk to Chateau and old Quebec City shops and restaurants. No elevator which would be a problem for older guests. Poor lighting in the washroom and terrible water pressure in the shower. Room was beautiful with the exposed stone walls.

The hotel was beautiful. The rooms are so gorgeously appointed. We stayed in room six and it had the perfect view of the chateau and the river. And Paule at the front desk/reception/hostess was wonderful. So knowledgeable about the city on where to go and where to eat, she made our stay in Quebec even nicer. I had mentioned that it was my partner’s birthday and she surprised us with a card and some chocolates! Thank you Paule for making our trip to Quebec even more memorable
