A hidden gem
Excellent hotel in a fantastic position with good simple facilities which are very well kept. Pool is small but the sandy beach is just 150 metres away. You need a car. The main town is 15 minutes on good roads and the island is well worth exploring. Numerous good, very good or excellent restaurants around the island.
Not for you if you want flashy decor and nightlife!
We'll be going back!

Gorgeous little hotel in a quiet hamlet, close to a beautiful beach. The owners could not have been more friendly and helpful and almost immediately it felt like they were family. They shared information about their island, where to go, what to see and where to eat with a genuine pride and generosity - and delighted in our interest to experience the real Tinos. The restaurant was fantastic - all the food home made by Mama, using fresh local ingredients. And they make a real effort to go green too! Highly recommend for the discerning traveler who wants a real Greek experience!

Fantastic stay! Great location, right next to a lovely beach. Tinos centre is only 15 mins away by bus, bus stop very near the hotel. Polite and helpful staff. Food at the Taverna is outstanding, worth a visit even if you are not staying here. My wife and I would definitely stay here if we visited Tinos in future.

Peace and quiet and a view out of this world.
Tinos remains a typically-greek island and this hotel is in the southeast corner of the island. As such it is remote and outside of the peak summer season you might need a car to explore the whole island. We used the local bus which took us into Tinos Town in 20 minutes and then used other buses to travel further although this was limited by the off-peak timetable.
We requested a first floor suite and were delighted with our room. It was very spacious with a large bathroom, kitchen/lounge area, bedroom and two balconies. The views were amazing across to Mykonos and other islands. There was a table and chairs outside ideal for breakfast.
The bed was comfortable with plenty of storage. The shower powerful and with lots of hot water.
The hotel was very quiet and ideal for a couple to stay.
The hotel has been owned by the family for many years. They are always helpful. You can have a beautifully prepared meal at the hotel and they also offer breakfast with a wide range of continental fare.
The hotel is close to the beach and the start of a Tinos Trail.
I can highly recommend this hotel. The views alone will make it a holiday you will never forget.

This is a reasonably priced hotel with a friendly and helpful staff. Located a short stroll to a great beach with umbrellas and serving food and drinks. One thing to be aware of is it's out of town so about a 13 euro cab ride each way. Would have rented a car but found out 'son arrival you must now have an international driver license...U.S. licenses won't work. Still preferred being out of town in a peaceful setting. Also felt the breakfast at 10 euros was overpriced. Still a nice find and great staff make up for any inconveniences.

A wonderful stay
We stayed four days at the Ethrion Hotel and we enjoyed it very much! The room was well decorated, very clean and quiet. The owner of the hotel was very helpful and attentive at our needs. The hotel itself was very well located, near all the attractions, without the noise.

A peaceful & tranquil stay
Porto Raphael is set in a very quiet neighbourhood. The apartment my husband & I had was lovely & spacious. The balcony had a view across the sea, where you could see Mykonos and other islands further afield. It was lovely, peaceful and tranquil. You do need a car to visit the beautiful villages the island as to offer. There are 2 sandy beaches close-by. There is also 3 tavernas & a restaurant within walking distance. My husband & I enjoyed our 6 night stay here & would stay here again.

Stunning
Me and my partner stayed at Porto Raphael about 4 weeks ago and can say it’s a stunning place, we had a lovely large apartment that could easily sleep 4 adults. It had a lovely modern contemporary feel and very large veranda with stunning views of Mykonos.
Thank you Porto Raphael for our wonderful stay which is highly deserved.

Nice hotel very close to a beach.
Kitchen facilities suited us fine. Any utensils etc. you didn't have you could ask for and get from the hotel restaujrant. Beatififul view of the water from the second floor. Everyone was really helpful and charming. You need a car, but this is true in general on Tinos. Cheap rentals on the port in Tinos town.
