Kind warm people. A very good location of the Riad close to the medina. Clean and wonderful rooms with the best pillow and blanket. Completely quiet with no noise from the city. A nice rooftop terrace were you can enjoy mint tea in the sun. The breakfast is true Moroccan and taste magnificent. A very good choice for your trip to Marrakech.

Absolutely everything was wonderful , charm of a small hotel and service of a 6 star . Everyone of the staff and Laurence were an absolute joy to spend a little time with .15 minute walk to main square , but lots right on your doorstep . A gem in the Medina

Our recent stay at Charme d’Orient was fabulous. The riad is beautifully appointed & maintained . The room was large for a riad and had all the amenities you’d need - including a/c-heater for those cooler months. Staff went above and beyond to help, booking taxi’s and providing information about places to see and eat. The location is also great, within the walls of the medina, just a 10-15 minute walk from the main square and very close to the Saadian tombs.
Laurence is the most hospitable of hosts 👌

Thank you to Laurence and her team (Said, Soufiane, Asnah, and Fatima) for a fantastic stay in Marrakech. This riad was beautiful; the interior decor, rooms, and terrace look amazing. The riad is only a 15-minute walk to the main square (Jemaa el-Fnaa), and there are loads of little side alleys and streets on the doorstep to explore. Laurence is very knowledgeable about the surrounding area and had plenty of recommendations of places to see, things to do, and restaurants to visit. A couple of roof-top bars were a 5-minute walk away. Breakfast every morning was a great spread of local foods, fruits, honey, and yogurt, and the kitchen was more than happy to organise or toast gluten free breads for my missus. The staff were always checking that we were ok, offering us tea, coffee, or even hot chocolate. We were only in Marrakech for 4 nights, but after our stay at the riad, it felt like we were saying goodbye to family when we left. We would highly recommend this riad, and Laurence and her team, to anyone looking for the perfect place to stay to explore Marrakech.

What a wonderful experience, even before travelling out the communication from Laurence and the team was fantastic, the staff here are so thoughtful and really do care about you, giving you great advice and suggestions about what to do and where do go, without any pressure being put on you.
We were celebrating a birthday whilst in Marrakech and the staff went out of their way to make it a really special time.
The riad itself is beautiful, very traditional decor which is what you want in a riad, it has everything you need, the location is fantastic, giving you a great base to explore Marrakech, breakfast is spot on and plenty.
When we return to Morocco we'll definitely be staying here.

I cannot fault this place. It was great from start to finish. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, they arranged our taxis to and from the airport as well as a day trip to the waterfalls. Breakfast was tasty with a variety to choose from. The room was gorgeous and very clean. The location was perfect, a short walk to the square but was still peaceful and tranquil. Thank you for making our trip so special.

We had the most amazing stay at the riad Charme D'Orient! Laurence was delightful and her staff was absolutely amazing. Our room was in great conditions, we loved the breakfast and we also took advantage of the Hammam treatments on our last day (to pay separately). The riad is near the Medina but away from the chaos. We received great assistance and care, from booking our taxi to advice on places to visit, etc. We would highly recommend and we hope to go back one day!
